In this first workout we'll play two-note power chord voicings across the neck diagonally starting at the 6th string rooted G5. After you make your way back down from the highest string pair where you play the XII position E5 you'll do the sequence in reverse, but instead of going back to G5 you make a diagonal jump to B5 to start another angled journey up and down the neck.

The key is to play each chord clearly, but more importantly, to make a smooth transition to the next chord on the next string set. While you're holding down a chord visualize the next one and when it comes time to make the change keep your fingers in that formation and you'll make the move to the next chord that much better. Be sure to listen for my tips on muting as that will make all the difference.
