In this workout #1 we'll play two-note power chord voicings across the neck starting at the 6th string rooted A5. The key here is to play each chord clearly, but more importantly, to make a smooth transition to the next chord on the next string set. While you're holding down a chord visualize the next one and when it comes time to make the change keep your fingers in that formation and you'll make the move to the next chord that much better. Be sure to listen for my tips on muting as that will make all the difference.
