This final Level 3 Workout sits itself in the 2nd and 1st positions where you're going to play through the three main setups of three-note-per-string sequences. You'll flow through four bars in 6/4 of whole step/whole step, whole step/half step and half step/whole step sequences that are played in a zigzag motion as you vertically descend down the neck. You'll notice that whatever fingering you play last on the 6th string will be what you play on the 1st string making the jump a little easier to manage.

At this point your fret hand 4th finger should be up for the task, but if you find that's the weak link then you need to go to a lower level and work through those workouts to get it up to snuff. You have four fingers: USE THEM! As always, take it at your own pace and remember to never, ever play in pain. You'll get to where you want to be soon enough.
