Now you're ready to try to a simple fingerpicking pattern called a forward arpeggio.
To begin, form a C Major chord on the guitar and rest your right thumb on the 5th string. Your thumb will alternate between plucking the 5th and 4th strings, as the I, M, A fingers execute this simple arpeggio.
