Watch the Amazing Grace - 2 online guitar lesson by TrueFire from Acoustic Guitar Greatest Hits Vol. 1

If you were performing this song on a piano you'd notice that the right hand plays much of the melody as the left hand just makes nice moves in the middle and bass register to give sustain and notes that lead into the melody. When you watch this song being performed on the guitar, you see once again that the left and right hand are working the melody and bass and lead lines, very much like a pianist. This is basically what "fingerstyle" guitar is all about. Since there is no particular bridge or chorus in this song and every verse is musically the same, I chose to play it three times but each time moving up a half step. It starts in "C", then goes to "D", and then completes the song in the key of "E". This is howi give little variety to the song.
