While the first Weekly Workout had a strong chordal element, this one does even more so! Weekly Workout #10 will challenge a few different aspects of your fret hand technique including barring, using your thumb to fret notes and stretching. To play this eight bar riff, you'll need to drop your low E string down two whole steps to C.

The first half of the Workout contains ideas born of a chord melody brainstorm with a Skype student. Inspiration for the tuning came from a John Mayer tune I'm shedding for a Hal Leonard project. Same goes for some of the voicings in the second half. You just never know where ideas will present themselves. Good stuff!
