The technique at hand for this Weekly Workout is harp harmonics(!). This is one of my all-time favorite playing techniques because it just sounds so, so good no matter what tempo or how simple or complex the lick is. While there are varying ways to actually play harp harmonics I go for a pick hand finger only approach. In this eight bar Workout, I'll make use of two harp harmonic techniques over four m9(4) chords rooted in B, A, G, and Bb. If possible, I suggest adding a dash of reverb to your mix for added depth and color - you can thank me later ;)
