Tapping is what this Weekly Workout is all about. This four bar lick in 6/4 was inspired by my old friend and former Berklee colleague, Don Lappin (aka Tappin' Lappin). While we're not totally copping Don's incredible technique, this lick will challenge you nonetheless. You'll notice I have a string dampener device near my Vigier Excalibur Special's headstock. * Warning: If you don't tap a whole lot, but get really inspired by this lick to do so make sure you ease into it and not overdo it. Otherwise, you'll have a not-so-great feeling in whatever pick hand finger you decide to tap with akin to when you first started playing and starting tearing up your fret hand fingertips!
