This week's Workout is based on two techniques: hybrid picking and fret hand rolling. It also incorporates fundamentals from the infamous 7-Tone program I teach both privately and on Skype. The aforementioned components are applied to four root position pentatonic scales that ascend up the neck in whole steps. Careful application of hybrid picking and rolling are required. Be sure to listen carefully when I explain how intervallic concepts are applied to pentatonic scales so you're not thinking I'm nuts as I call out the intervals I'm playing!
