The rhythms here are tighter and more on top of the beat than in the Iommi section. There are a good number of anticipations and chords that include the third. It can be a challenge to make sure that these chords are ringing true and completely in tune, so check yourself!!

In the first part of the solo its mostly blues licks, but I make a specific choice to play an entire phrase in triplets in order to create some rhythmic diversity and interest. This is a simple technique for making your solo more interesting, so use it!
