TrueFire bought an old boxing gym in our local art district; we've gutted it completely, and are now building out new office digs and our reimagined studios from the ground up. This will be the 4th generation of TrueFire's studios and we're going for the gold on this one. This wouldn’t be possible without the love and support of our students over the years, so please join us in the celebration and pick up some big FireStarter Rewards!
For the design of TrueFire Studios 4.0, we're working with studio architect Wes Lachot. Wes has been designing studios, post production facilities, and performance venues for high-profile clients for over 20 years. Donald Fagen's engineer calls his work "absolutely perfect."
The new studio will feature a 600-sq ft soundstage with a three-axis cyclorama wall, a floating structure for acoustic isolation, in-wall tie line panels, and speed-rail mounted lighting fixtures. The control room will feature mastering-studio-accurate acoustics and sound reproduction, dedicated workspaces for engineers, producers, and artists, with a centralized machine room for production workstations, equipment, and storage media.
Multi-functional acoustic clouds float over the top of every sound-sensitive space, and every nuance, from the air conditioning velocities to sound dampening to visual aesthetics have been meticulously engineered. The new studio facilitates 4K video production, enhanced audio quality, and an overall elevated learning experience for TrueFire students.
We're committed to improving the quality and effectiveness of our educational materials by building the most acoustically sound, technically proficient, and creatively inspiring workspace for our artists and educators.
We’ll keep you posted on our progress in the updates below. In the meantime, come celebrate with us by jumping on one of our FireStarter rewards!
Ignited we stand!
