Watch the Original Ray online guitar lesson by Adam Levy from Essentials: Slow Burn Soloing

There are so many double-stops in this etude, particularly pairs of notes in sixths, and has more chromatic notes than we have elsewhere. Such chromaticism may stretch your ears a bit, but I've tried to keep things accessible and bluesy. There's a lot of territory to explore between even 8th notes, swung 8th notes, and triplets. As you first learn this etude, play it exactly as written. But as you get more and more comfortable with the notes, work on making your phrasing more elastic. Not all 8th notes are created equal.
