Watch the C sus 2 Tuning online guitar lesson by Vicki Genfan from Essentials: Open Tunings
Notice a few things as you watch this one. My right hand is very relaxed. It also favors certain strings depending on what I'm playing. For instance, notice that when I'm playing the F, Eb and D7 chords with the barre on the 4th, 5th and 6th strings that I'm really not strumming the top 3 strings. In contrast, when I'm playing chords like the Cm, BbM7 or Gm9, I'm wanting to make sure I play (and can hear) the high strings as well. I do this automatically, but I don't want to assume that you will too. Just noticing this as you watch will help it become automatic for you if it isn't already.
