Hammerons, pulloffs, slides and bends are often referred to collectively as articulations. In the big picture, you’ve got something like a scale, in this case the E minor pentatonic scale, that you can choose your notes from. Getting a little more detailed, there’s your phrasing, which refers to the timing with which you play those notes relative to the groove. Finally, articulations are the nuances of how you get from one note to the next - by sliding, by hammering on, by bending, and so on.
