Watch the C Horse online guitar lesson by David Hamburger from Essentials: Fingerstyle Blues

Thinking in terms of chord shapes - C, G, F, and so on - will help you get your fretting fingers to the right places at the right times for much of this tune. That said, the unusual G7 fingerings here have a lot to do with bringing out the melody on top, so I’d suggest spending some time getting those new shapes under your fingers as shapes. If you can see and feel them that way - as shapes - and practice switching between them and the more familiar C and F voicings, it should help quite a bit as you proceed to put the whole song together.
