Watch the Feelin' Fine online guitar lesson by Brooks Robertson from Essentials: Boom-Chick Fingerstyle Etudes
Use this performance of Feelin' Fine to watch and listen to what the right and left hands are each doing individually, and also how they work together, simultaneously bringing the tune to life. Notice that some of the chord changes happen quickly, often jumping a few frets at a time. While the left hand might be jumping around a bit from chord form to chord form, the right hand should keep playing, especially the thumb, which means that occasionally you'll have to hit a "ghost note", either an open string in passing, or often a fully muted note. You'll also hear syncopation, in addition to melody notes being anticipated before the beat. As always, you can use this video as a resource to reference as many times as you need and eventually to play along with as well. Don't forget to utilize the tabs, charts, and notation.
