Watch the Minor Sea online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from Essentials: Advanced Blues Rhythm
The chords in this blues are C minor, F minor, and G minor. If you look at the voicings I play, it's fairly easy to see that they're all contained inside of the larger barre chord fingerings we normally play. That's important.
It's important because it makes them easier to visualize and use on the fly until you're solid on your tired inversion voicings. Please also take note at how much space I'm leaving and letting the chords ring out and fill in the space, or leave space. It's very easy to destroy a mood, or never actually set one up by playing too much. Taste and space, taste and space. Hey, I think I just coined a phrase!
