For this instrumental I'll be spreading the ten licks from the previous example across the fretboard. This adds greater dynamics to my solo and let's me connect ideas together in new ways. You'll notice within the first few measures I'm moving through three different G chord shapes. Some of these licks have been transposed an octave higher. Transposing a lick up or down an octave is a super simple way to get extra milage out of an idea.
