Watch the Let's Rock online guitar lesson by Jason Loughlin from 1-2-3 Rockabilly Guitar

Here's a 12 bar shuffle based on a tune released by Del-Fi records in 1958 or 59 one month after Richie Valens tragic death in a plane crash that also took Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. I love the energy on the original recording. It features Rene Hart on guitar and Carol Kaye and Earl Palmer who were part of the famous "wrecking crew". The tune was originally recorded and produced by Robert Keane in his basement using a two track tape machine and two Neumann U47s. Very influential tune. You can even hear it's echo on Led Zeppelin's "Boogie With Stu".
