Watch the Bending Lick For C Shape online guitar lesson by Jason Loughlin from 1-2-3 Country
On our C chord shape we get to bend a double stop. This lick is inspired by the original chicken picker himself James Burton. We're going to start with an oblique bend and alternate between grabbing the double stop with the fingers and picking the bottom note with the pick. Next we start on the root and use a bend release to get from the b7th to the 6th. I'm playing the root with my middle finger and the bend release with the pick. I'm using a combo of pick and middle finger for the last bend too.
