We are back to that very warm sound, using strings three, four, and five. In this example, you should notice the addition of voice leading within the chord. For example, in the opening D major chord in the third chorus you hear the major chord move to the major seventh and then to the dominant seventh. This is a great way to set up the four chord (G major). Look for these types of opportunities in other progressions.
