Watch the Milan Pavan: Strain 3 online guitar lesson by Andrew Leonard from Beginner Method for Classical Guitar
Strain 3 of Milán's "Pavan 1" begins exactly the same as Strain 2. The second half is different. It builds upon the melody in the higher strings and ends on the A on the first string. You'll play some new chord shapes using our classical guitar left hand positions. Notice when I introduce the D chord it's in the context of supporting the melody. Again, this is an important part of how classical guitarists think about chords.
Oops! At about 38 seconds, I say "Strain 3" and place my left hand 4th finger on the sixth string. I should have said "Strain 2".
