Watch the Fingers Only Arpeggios Exercise online guitar lesson by Andrew Leonard from Beginner Method for Classical Guitar
The first step in learning to play PIMI right hand arpeggios is to separate the fingers and the thumb. We will alternate our fingers just as we did when learning to play rest strokes. The differences in arpeggio playing are: using free strokes and playing on different strings.
To prepare P to play, we will be placing it on different strings while alternating I and M. After the explanation, I play the exercise without talking at approximately 48 seconds.
