Watch the Funky Sixteen online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Slow Blues Progressions Vol. 1
This example is a funky blues in G minor in a sixteen bar form. Here, you'll have eight bars of G minor, four bars of C7, and then back to four bars of G Minor. Be careful not to rush into playing with too much rhythmic variation as you definitely want to make sure you can play the changes cleanly. Also note that on this example, all of the chord forms will exclude the fifth and sixth strings.
