Watch the Tense Situation online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Slash Chords Vol. 2
This is a nice modern sounding progression using slash chords. The first chord is an F/D, which you could think of as a Dm7 as well. You'll move up finger four to play an E♭ / D, which is an E♭maj7 in third inversion. You'll notice already we're hearing some tension in the voicings. Your fourth finger will act as a guide as you move up to the G♭/D♭, and your second finger catches the bass note. Come back for the answer to the progression, F/D and then E♭/D. We then finish up with a D♭/C.
