Here we have a funk groove again, but this time with D as our tonal center. As with our previous example, we're using the layout of the power chords that goes diagonally across the neck. Since power chords only have two notes you only have two inversions: your root, and the voicing with the fifth in the bass. Notice that on the fourth chord you're going to want to hyperextend your pinky to get the two string barre there.
