Watch the Push and Pull Control online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Pedal Tones Vol. 1
This is our final vi-IV progression in the key of F, but it's also the most challenging from a number of standpoints. The Dm chord can be a challenge from an intonation standpoint, so make sure you aren't pushing or pulling any notes out of pitch. Try dropping your shoulder slightly to help you relax the left hand. As always, we move our A note to B♭/D for our IV chord. You can try a number of different fingerings with this one, so experiment and find one that works for you.
