Watch the Sweet Relief online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Pedal Tones Vol. 1
This progression is a vi-IV in the key of F, with our first chord being a Dm coming out of the Gm form out of the EDCAG system. This chord can be a bit of a stretch, but the relief comes with our B♭/D. You'll notice we have two A notes that we can move up to B♭ which lend us some easier fingering. These are both valuable voicings to have in your inventory. Try moving the inner A voice on the D string up a half step and leaving the top A on the B string static. There is something magical about moving inner voicings in chords.
