Our first chord here is an Amadd9. This is a great voicing because it uses open strings to get a different order of notes. Notice that the open B string is actually lower than the 5th fret G string, making for a very cool sound. Be sure to keep your fingers upright, because you do not want to disturb your B and G strings. Then we're going to move the top two voices to give us an Fadd9/A. Take notice of how the top two voices have a melodic quality.
