Watch the Different Voices online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Jazz Turnarounds Vol. 4
Back in example 01 we had the following: Fmaj9-D7b9-Gm7-C7b9. This example is simply a variation of this where you'll be getting some other voices. This time instead of a D7b9 we're using a D13b9 which adds more tension. As a great exercise, learn each turnaround and then go back and change one voicing to one you've learned previously in the lesson. This will help you develop fresh new ideas.
