Up to this point all of our turnarounds have been a I - vi - ii - V in the key of F. In this example, we're going to retain that idea but use some altered dominant chords on the vi and V chords. The resulting progression will be Fmaj7 - D7#9 - Gm9 - C13b9. By using these altered dominants you can create a steeper ramp with the tension of the chords that will resolve with your target chord.
