Watch the Open Ended online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: Double-Stops Vol. 1
This example is the inversion of Example 5, "A's in the Bass". This puts us up towards the top of the neck, and our A7 here utilizes all open strings. Remember that when you learn anything that uses open strings, try transposing it into all keys. This will force you to work out fingerings that don't use open strings. Try to work in some bends and/or chromaticism like we did in "Home Base" and "Still Blue". The first two chords lend themselves to bending quite nicely and it should be easy to use chromaticism to link the first chord with the second chord and the third chord with the fourth chord. Ooh! How about some chromatic bends on the first two chords!
