Watch the Octave Jumper online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Chord Studies: CAGED Chords Vol. 3
The first voicing for C we're going to use in this progression is coming out of the G form out of the CAGED system. Next we move our C note up two octaves onto the first string and that gives us some chordal melody. Then we move to a Dm using the Am form out of the EDCAG system. This is a great progression to experiment with fingering options as well.
