Watch the Sneaky Gaps online guitar lesson by Bill Evans from 30 Sax Licks for Guitar You MUST Know

I'm playing more of the major/minor 3rd and b5 notes here. Those notes give it color. Don't be afraid to play major and minors in any key, as long as you use them as passing tones, meaning don’t stay on them long, unless when you do, they sound good. Use your ears with this. You'll know whether or not it sounds good. Try playing the first bar in different keys. It’s a cool phrase by itself. Pick out different bars in these lines and learn them. After you know a lot of them, you'll be creating your own lines without even thinking about it. That’s the purpose of all these lines!
