Watch the DG's Boogie Conclusion online guitar lesson by Steve Trovato from Voodoo Blues

Well, there you have it: 5 rhythms and 5 solos all of
which work together to create cool new voodoo sounds. Although there are a lot of great licks and
solos here, don’t neglect to pay attention to the larger picture.

Listen and
learn from the concepts and create your own ideas and riffs. I talked about chromatisicm, rhythmic
ideas, motive ideas and moving changing notes within a solo phrase to adapt to each lick
specifically. Remember to listen for the sonic devices that I use to get the sounds: delay,
compressor, reverb, overdrive, etc.

These ideas are 50% note choices and 50%
tonal choices.
