Watch the DG's Boogie: Solo 3 online guitar lesson by Steve Trovato from Voodoo Blues

The voodoo here is the concept of using both single notes and double
stops within the same lick. I start with an E triad played across strings 4, 3 and 2. Use hybrid
picking to play the double stops on strings 3 and 2 and the pull off on string 4. Move the shape
down to the second position for the IV chord and the fourth position for the V7 chord.

These kind of riffs always sound better when you really snap the strings.
