Watch the Jumpin' In The Boneyard: Solo 1 online guitar lesson by David Blacker from Swing Blues Survival Guide: Lead

The intro to this piece is a line based on the intro to the T-Bone song "T-Bone Jumps Again". It leads into a great long characteristic T-Bone lick that segways into the downbeat of the I chord (8th fret B string) preceded by a choked bend on the G string, which are something you'll hear throughout T-Bone's playing. As an alternative to the choked bend, you can also experiment with a slide from the 4th to the 5th degree (10th to 12th fret G string) and then resolving to the 5th on the 8th fret B string, or mix and match the two approaches. Try to get the T-Bone feel and approach to phrasing. In addition to learning this solo, I highly recommend picking up some great T-Bone recordings (Black & White Recordings) and just playing along.
