This solo transitions up the neck and works off the Bb major 6th triad built with the major 3rd on the 10th fret of the high E string. Listening to guys like Duke, Charlie Christian, Tiny Grimes and others, you'll acquire a number of a great licks that work off of this shape. Take note of the chromatic walk from the 10th fret to the 13th, which is a really common run. However in this piece we bend the 12th fret up a half-step as opposed to playing the 13th fret. This effect really grabs the ear, because it's a bend from the bV to the V chord. So it starts dissonant and then bends into a major chord tone.
The next set of phrases incorporates a great transition run into the major 3rd of the IV chord. I would highly recommend transcribing that riff into other octaves, positions, etc. It incorporates some great chromatic movement and targeting of key chord tones. I would also recommend breaking apart and analyzing the turnaround in this piece, it's a great II-V-I turnaround, but it outlines chord fragments/inversions that are less familiar than standard shapes for Cm (II chord) and F7 (V chord). In fact, these riffs come off the same the Bb shape that opens this piece, however in the context of the II-V turnaround, it's important to relate these notes to the Cm & F7 chords.
