Watch the Solo #4 online guitar lesson by Corey Congilio from Solo Factory: Texas Blues
In this variation we've changed a few things. I changed the one chord example to the Anywhere lick called Makin' Your Way. This lick covers a lot of ground and is a great option when you get it down over this rhythm. I decided to stick with the IV chord lick Descend Me. I then changed the V chord option to the Anywhere lick called Here Or There. This lick was introduced over the funky rhythm but I manipulated it to work over the uptempo feel. You'll have to do the same thing in your practices and solo composing. I always encourage students to manipulate one single lick and have it do your bidding.
