Watch the Sweet Shuffle #1 online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from Solo Factory: Chicago Blues

This solo is a combination of licks starting with the first lick of each of the I7, IV7, and V7 chord sections. The intro lick is a bit tricky to get those sliding 3rds played in triplets to be clean and in time, if you look you will see that I am using all down-strokes on the first lick. For the IV7 we really simplify things for a nice sparse lick. This is something to consider when soloing, the idea of leaving some space. The final section of the solo uses one of my favorite turnaround licks that one you have under your fingers you can plug in anywhere.
