Watch the Bendy V online guitar lesson by Jeff McErlain from Solo Factory: Chicago Blues

This lick is a little tricky due to the nuances of the bends, these nuances are essential to any good blues guitar playing. Continuing with the theme we can see that we are tweaking our b3rd every time we encounter it. I am also tweaking my b7. When I say tweaking, I mean bending the note up a little bit alluding to the next note of the scale without actually sounding it. This is indicative of the blues. There a lot of in between notes in there that can really add to the expressive quality of each note. For example when I can tweak my fb3rd bend it up just shy of the natural 3rd. I know I sound like a broken record with this but please work on it! :-)
