Watch the Breakdown 4 online guitar lesson by Andy Aledort from Slow Blues Power

In bar 11, back over the I (one) chord, D7, I begin with another oblique bend, this time bending the A, second string/10th fret, up a whole step while quickly alternate picking between this note and D, first string/10th fret. The bend is held through beat one and in to the beginning of beat two, but is slowly released at the end of beat two. This lick is fingerpicked, also, as I use the pick to sound the B string and the tip of the middle finger to sound the high E string. I then wrap the phrase up with unusual phrasing in seventh and eighth position of D minor pentatonic, employing a multiple-slide down the D string on beat four, moving smoothly from seventh to third position and the end of the solo.
