Watch the Breakdown 5 online guitar lesson by Andy Aledort from Slow Blues Power

The end of bar 10 features a reprise of the fast 16th-note triplet-type licks; I also squeeze in some quicker phrasings, as quintuplets (groups of five notes) are sounded on some of the eighth-note subdivisions. The last eighth note in bar 10 features the same “pull-off/slide back” positional shift on the B string played earlier, followed by some “roll overs:” for the last two notes in bar 10, G and D, I roll my index finger slightly from the high E to the B string, followed by a “pinky roll” from the sixth fret of the B string to the sixth fret of the G string, which sets up the string of pull-offs down the G string at the beginning of bar 11.
