A variation here is the use of the sixth, A, instead of the b7, Bb, along with the notes C and Eb, and, in this way, emulates the notes of the “B.B. box” in a different position of the fretboard. In bar 8, I move back into quick glissandos, executed with slides and hammers, from the minor third, Eb, to the major third, E strengthening the connection between the solo and the chord that I’m playing over.
