Watch the Crimson Shack online guitar lesson by Corey Congilio from Slow Blues Guru
As I mentioned in the overview, the interval of the 6th is driving this solo. I'll talk about how not only is the 6th interval a great sound, but the fingering of it is unique. You'll see what I mean. This harmonic device is so incredibly useful and sounds fantastic.
Through the tune, I'll veer away from the exact rhythmic notation on the chart. This is by design. I want you to use the technique I'm using for the 6ths and make it your own. I'll explain that, too. Near the end of the solo, I'll incorporate some traditional blues ideas for good measure. I'm using my Strat again here, but I went with the Marshall Plexi amp model for that Hendrix vibe.
