Watch the Chromatics & Mixolydian online guitar lesson by Jeff Beasley from Shred Ahead Blues Rock

We know if we take the major scale and flat the seventh tone we have the mixolydian scale which goes well with rock and blues. If we take that same mixolydian scale and put the natural seven back into the scale along with the flat seven we have what is known as the bebop scale. The bebop scale will add a completely new color to your soloing and show character in your melodic lines.
