Unison bends offer a distinct sound that has been well represented in rock history: Jimi Hendrix kicked off his infamous "Manic Depression" solo with ascending unison bends, while Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page kicked off his immortal "Dazed and Confused" solo with descending unison bends. Unison bends are almost always executed on adjacent unwound strings exclusively, and I begin here with the G and B strings and then progress to the B and high E strings.
