Watch the Little Princess 4 online guitar lesson by Tim Sparks from Post-Modern Fingerstyle Blues

In an approach that's reminiscent of Flamenco technique, the melody in the second part of the arrangement is played almost entirely against a 8th-fret barre. The barre, played with the first finger, functions much like the nut would in an open-position part. Until the very last note of this section, all of the action is in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers which hammer and pull the melody.
