These solos deal with different shapes of standard riffs on top of the third blues position.
This is a position favored by B.B. King, Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. By placing your index finger on the tonic on the second string, you can easily access all kinds of good sounding notes.
The notes can come from the blues scale or from the mixolydian scale.
