Watch the Solo: Variation 1a online guitar lesson by Mark Stefani from Jazzed Blues

Slow blues provides a vehicle for one of the most expressive, dynamic ways to improvise a guitar solo, and this fourth disc in the series is devoted to a 12-bar blues chorus that features a multitude of different licks and techniques. These include string rakes, double-stops, slides, vibrato, slurs, string bends, chord punches, etc. The first group of video lesson segments demonstrate the original solo, which represents the overall theme of the lesson, followed by several variations.
